I remember a lot of my students were very funny. I guess I was 22 - 23 when I was doing that so, it was really difficult for me to pretend to be an authority figure, I didn’t really feel that much older than the students, and also ‘cause in 8th grade you get some kids who got held back who are like 16, 17, so there are kids like as tall as me. It was definitely a cool experience, definitely I think teaching’s a very important profession, and, who knows, maybe if I wasn’t doing music I’d still be doing that, but I definitely got made fun of so much - back then I always got called ‘Peter Parker’ and ‘Harry Potter’. I don’t know if in 2015 the references would be slightly different or something, but yeah, I got made fun of a lot, kids would throw stuff at me, but, I’m unbreakable. So, to all my former students, look at me now you couldn’t take me down.
